GO Outside and PLAY!
Welcome to the 2024 Pickleball Season !
The Executive of the Lake Country Pickleball Club would like to welcome our members to the 2024 season. We have made some changes to the club that are designed to balance the size of the playing groups, provide a week-to-week set schedule, and simplify the process for player evaluation and movement.
Socially. Competitive.
We strive to provide our 260+ members with a positive pickleball experience every day. LCPC is a "socially competitive" pickleball club that offers good competition with great friends. We are very fortunate to have the facilities we all enjoy at Benchlands Park and the Executive Team has worked hard to structure the groups, schedule and play formats to accommodate players of all skill levels with the limited court time we have available.
This is your club - help make it better!
Lake Country Pickleball Club was founded in 2020 by Rod Johnston and the late Bob Hodgins with one goal in mind - let's get some friends together, play some pickleball and have a great time! That goal hasn't changed. We expect every member will contribute to make our club a fun place to play, where people of all ages and backgrounds come together on the courts, laughing, competing, helping each other to get better and building relationships that can last a lifetime!

Line Calls Code of Ethics
-
Only make line calls on your side of the court.
-
Only call ‘out’ balls when space is clearly visible between the line and where the pickleball lands.
-
Call ‘out’ balls promptly.
-
Use voice and/or hand signals to call ‘out’ balls.
-
Give the benefit of the doubt to your opponents.
-
If you and your partner disagree, the ball is ‘in’.
-
Spectators should not make any line calls.
-
You may ask your opponent to make a line call, but you give up your right to make the call and if your opponent cannot make the call, the call will be ‘in’.
-
An ‘out’ call prior to the pickleball bouncing will be deemed partner communication and not a line call.
